NC State Prague Study Abroad

Hello! I hope all is well. This summer, I will have the grand opportunity to study abroad in Prague, Czech Republic, to explore photography courses within my studio-based major, Art and Design. While studying abroad, I plan to challenge myself to take full advantage of this opportunity to positively influence my trip. I would like to expand my thinking and realm of deep comprehension. Instinctively, I pursue every opportunity that contributes to my success. By seeking out new experiences, I desire to be completely submerged in an environment that constantly stimulates me mentally, socially, academically, and physically. I am excited to experience an expansion to my discipline of academics by being inspired by different instruction and settings. Within these settings, I plan to be an active participant in the classroom and ask many questions. To obtain deeper knowledge, it is crucial to ask questions. As I prepare for this astounding time and space of study, I would like to think of myself as a vivid dreamer. I am preparing a list of goals that I would like to accomplish overseas. One of these goals is to be active and engage. As a participant, I yearn to grow and develop as I gain global awareness and understanding. In addition, studying abroad will enable me to listen and learn. I will have the opportunity to seize captivating moments of culture. Ultimately, I must maintain authenticity and transparency. My challenge is to embrace uncertainty. After my study abroad experience, I plan to utilize the skills that I have learned from Prague to start freelance photography services and accumulate work for my portfolio. As I embark upon this journey, I am requesting donations from family and friends, who are able to further advance my undergraduate academic career monetarily. Your contributions will be used towards funding my tuition abroad, as well as, providing aid for studio supplies. Final donations must be made by March 31, 2018.
