"Let's help a friend in need"

Our old friend from EGHS went to the ER on October 7th 2017 with what he thought was severe back pain from a previous car accident. They did a CT scan and found a mass attached to his pancreas. He was then admitted to the hospital for further testing. After an MRI and meeting with an oncologist he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer with spots on the liver. Pat was then given the chemo schedule & released from the hospital on the 11th of October. The tumor itself is only 2 centimeters which is very good; but the fact that the cancer has spread his liver constitutes this as being stage 4.
As many of you know from FB Pat keeps his awesome attitude & remains positive. After just a few treatments the cancer cells have gone down; so he is very happy and ready for the rest of this battle.
His adorable son Pierce is 11 years old & in the 6th grade. He loves football & is very athletic! I am hoping that we can all help out our friend during this difficult time. Any funds raised will help support Pat with medical treatments as well as any expenses with his son. Let's unite and help our friend through this difficult time. No donation is too small.
