Help get Brenda home!

Brenda and Jerry went on a weekend trip 2 weeks ago to Gatlinburg TN.  Not even 30 minutes after they arrived  Brenda was headed in an ambulance to the hospital.  She had a hemorrhagic stroke.  a couple hours later, over 500 miles from home, she underwent a craniectomy:  the doctors removed a section of her skull to ease the pressure on her brain due to swelling and bleeding.  The next 11 days she spent in Neuro ICU.  The doctors say we are lucky she is still with us and are very happy with her progress.

The hospital is ready for her discharge this week to an acute care rehab, however she can not travel home the same way she came.  Brenda will need to be transported by medical transport of some kind; either by helecopter or by ambulance.  This is extremely expensive and isnt covered by their insurance.

Jerry and Brenda are the owner/operators of Pro Electric, a small local residential electricle company.  For the last two weeks Jerry has been in Knoxville Tn by Brenda's side.  Brenda's recovery would be better in a familiar environment surrounded by family and friends that can enourage and support her on her road to recovery, while Jerry needs to be able to get back to running the operations of their company.

They are not ones that would ask for assistance, but I would like to help them raise $5000 to help with transporting Brenda home. If you can help ease some of this stress and financial burden for them it would be appreciated.
