Cameron’s Fight Against Leukemia

Hi my name is Kelsey, a long time family friend and I am writing this on behalf of the Bendgen family.

Cameron recently found out that he has Leukemia. This happened very suddenly and as you can imagine, has been overwhelming for him and his family.

 

Not feeling well and having some noticeable health changes, he went in to the ER on a Sunday afternoon. A few hours later he was admitted and had several test ran. That evening he received news from the doctors and medical staff that at 31 years old, he has leukemia. 

 

In the coming days, he will be back and forth to the hospital for his medication and blood transfusions. And he will continue treatment based on results in the coming weeks.

 

Cameron is such a light in this world and brings joy to any situation that he is in. Getting a diagnosis such as this, especially so young can be overwhelming and scary, but Cameron has faced it head on with the help of his family and God.
