Nazie Tayyari's Fire Recovery Fund

On Monday, July 24th, a fire started at my home just shortly after my family and I had left the house. Thank goodness no one was at home.

There has been extensive damage to my home, and repairs are expected to take 6-9 months. We will be staying in temporary housing until our home repairs have been completed.

Most of our possessions have either been flood damaged, burned, or heavily smoke-laden. Our insurance company is not covering some of our personal items, which include clothing, toiletries, toys, furniture and electronics because they have been so badly damaged that they are unrecognizable.
