Naz The Fighter

Updated Nazir lost his battle on 12/1/19 at 12:15 pm in his mother's arms and surrounded by loved ones.  I never met a stronger fighter!

Nazir Laboy is an 18 yr old Barnega student.  Naz played  for Jackson Liberty High School as a Freshman and then transferred to Barnegat High School but situation changed 2017. New to the School District and just making friends the summer of 2018 changed. August 2018 he was diagnosed with stage 3  Lymphoma which after further tests he was diagnosed with  Leukemia. After radiation and chemo and many many visits to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia he was in remission!   Prayers were answered God gave his family a little time to have him back.  As of October 2019  Naz is once again fighting but this time for his life.. He is Stage 5+ Leukemia and hanging onto Prayers with his family by his side.  As of this past Monday before Thanksgiving CHOP told his mother he would not survive the night.   Yet here he is 5 days later fighting for life.  My heart is breaking for him and his family. His an amazing young man and should have the best treatment that any child should have.  His insurance does not cover most of what is happening but Children's Hospital of Philly has done all they can with funding.  Naz's mom has not been able to work for obvious reasons.  Expenses of medical bills, rent are piling up!  If God brings his baby home they will have expenses for his rest as well! We all spent Thanksgiving giving thanks in our homes while Naz's family ate at the hospital.  It is the time for giving and instead of buying a present extra consider please helping this family at this difficult time.
