Naya Monteith medical/family expense fund

Naya is 15 years old and a student at Vallivue high school. The last month she had been tired and not feeling well but on November 30th she started getting worse.  She was seen but her pediatrician and started antibiotics but on Sunday the 8th early morning she got much worse.

She was taken to West Valley in Caldwell where they started lots of tests. She continued to get more confused and lost most of her vision. After the did a cat scan and she got back to her room, she had a seizure. They immediately put in for a transfer to St Luke’s pediatric ICU. 

Once here she was diagnosed with PRES which is swelling and fluid on the brain. They are trying to find the cause of this but we are still waiting for a kidney biopsy to come back. She is improving everyday but it will be a long road.

As much as we hate asking for help we need it. So soon the bills will be rolling in and driving multiple times a day back and forth so one parent is with her at all times and food/drink costs is taking a toll.
