This proverb still rings today. It has been instrumental in my and Natalie's life and has cemented us in a life of service. Although Natalie and I are gracious for all your praises and gifts over the last few weeks regarding our engagement, we ask that you to open your hearts to the causes closest to ours. For the past few years, we have given our time to these causes. We are excited for the opportunity to give monetarily as well.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities - This charity provides quality, limited-cost or free treatment for seriously ill or injured children while providing a home and meals for the distressed families as well. Ever since Isaiah Robinson, our godson, was hospitalized, we have consistently returned to this charity to create meals suffering through similar circumstances.

Street Sense Newspaper - A Washington D.C.-based street newspaper offers economic opportunities for people experiencing homelessness in the community elevating voices and encouraging debate on poverty and injustice. Giving to these homeless creates not only a source of income for these people, but another opportunity to bond with another individual and to appreciate the graces in our lives.

College Bound – A Washington D.C.-based non-profit organization that offers public and public charter school students in grades 8-12 academic enrichment and resources to prepare for and succeed in college. This organization offers tutoring, mentoring, ACT/SAT preparation, and academic and career guidance free-of-charge to assist students in meeting their post-secondary educational goals. Natalie currently leads all of the College Bound volunteers at Deloitte.

Howard University - As proud alumni, the importance of giving back to the next generation of leaders cannot be overstated. Natalie and I are starting a scholarship for Howard University students so they may have the same educational and lifetime opportunities which have afforded us such a blessed life.
