The problem is that there is a remarkable lack of simple, easily understood educational resources on this topic. The majority of existing information on natural refrigerants is highly technical and targets industry stakeholders and engineers. As a result, most people are unaware of the impact of refrigerants on the environment and have never even heard of natural refrigerants.
An Educational Video is the Powerful First Step
As part of the Naturally Cool movement, we are developing a high-impact educational video to raise awareness about natural refrigerants and their environmental impacts. This 60-second animated video will be easy to understand and share, and will answer the following questions:
· What are “sustainable refrigerants?”
· What problems do these refrigerants solve?
· How do they contribute to the #1 solution to climate change?
This video has the power to revolutionize awareness of natural refrigerants, expand support for the industry, and contribute to a measurable impact on climate change. Together, we can bring this issue to the forefront!

The North American Sustainable Refrigeration Council (NASRC) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization taking action to advance natural refrigerants for supermarkets. By working directly with industry stakeholders, the NASRC focuses on removing the unique set of barriers preventing the widespread adoption of natural refrigerants in supermarkets to create a more climate-friendly future for refrigeration.
