Nat's fight against breast cancer

Hi all

 We found out on weekend that Nat has breast cancer.

This has turn our world upside down. I am still trying to come to terms with it.

My father was diagnosed with cancer at a young age. It was terrible. It is unbearable that Nat and our boys are going through the same. I could not find the right words to tell our boys. All I had was tears. Nat had to tell them. That’s how strong she is. Afterwards we all - from oldest to youngest - had a big cry together.  

When I first met Nat I knew she was the one. Independent, strong, vivacious and caring. Nat is an amazing wife and mother of five boys – she is the rock of our family. She’s also a superb school teacher, all the kids and teachers adore her. Not a surprise given her outgoing personality and caring nature. She also serves selflessly at Church, teaching primary kids the Gospel every Sunday. Her life is dedicated to serving others; and putting others before her own needs. Strong and active, you will find her in the morning swimming with the Manly Bold and Beautiful crew or playing on the beach with our boys. Full of love, life and laughter.  

While I know in my heart that Nat will pull through; and she will do it with a bright big smile on her face, lighting up every room and every heart along the way, nevertheless the road ahead will be extremely tough emotionally, physically and financially (the medical bills are already coming in).

I am sure you would agree that Nat needs and deserves our love and support more than ever. Therefore, we are reaching out to all our amazing family and friends to help in any way. Every donation will be a huge help over the next few months. The money raised will go towards her medical bills and to achieving one of her life’s goals next year. We will really appreciate any donation no matter the size.
