Help Us Save Lives – Fund Bleed Control Kits for London Communities   LET THE YOUTH LIVE CIC is proud to be working in partnership with The Daniel Baird Foundation Charity a driving force behind the nationwide rollout of publicly accessible Bleed Control Kits. These kits are essential in preventing catastrophic blood loss following trauma or violence, bridging the crucial gap between injury and emergency medical care. These life saving kits help control severe bleeding while waiting for paramedics to arrive, empowering the community to save lives.  All kit locations are logged with The Ambulance Service . Why These Kits Matter
  A person suffering a severe bleed can lose their life within 3-5 minutes—but in London, an ambulance takes an average of 7 minutes if you are lucky to arrive at the scene of a major emergency. Every second counts.

These life-saving Bleed Control Kits contain the same advanced medical equipment used by paramedics, including:
✅ Haemostatic dressings
✅ Gloves
✅ A tourniquet
✅ A chest seal  Housed in secure, registered public access cabinets, these kits empower bystanders to act fast in an emergency. Dial 999, and the operator will provide a cabinet access code and guide you through what to do—potentially saving a life before medical help arrives.
  The Story Behind the Campaign
  This movement was founded by Dr. Lynne Baird MBE, after tragically losing her son Daniel Baird to knife violence in 2017. Daniel’s life could have been saved with timely bleed control intervention, and in his memory, Lynne has made it her mission to ensure no other family suffers the same loss.
  Our Mission – More Kits, More Lives Saved
  LET THE YOUTH LIVE installed Londons  very first publicly accessible Bleed Control Cabinet in 2021 outside Tesco Express, East Dulwich Road, SE22 9BD. Since then, we have installed two more in Peckham, SE15 plus hundreds of portable kits into lots of shops schools pubs youth centres community groups located across Southwark Lambeth and other boroughs but we need your help to expand further across our communities .
