Help us build an animal hospital!
This 'National Pet Month', we at Hopefield Animal Sanctuary are trying to raise money to build our own animal hospital on site! We want to create awareness around responsible pet ownership, the benefits of living with pets and raising contented and happy pets as well as raise money for our vital project.
Hopefield is non-profit organisation that sits on 53 acres of beautiful countryside in the heart of Brentwood, Essex. We currently care for over 500 sick, unwanted and mistreated animals from horses, donkeys, sheep, cows and pigs, to more exotic animals like reptiles, parrots, raccoons, tanuki and reindeer. Our mission is to help animals in need, and provide education and awareness for humane behaviour towards all animals around the world. The residents at Hopefield live out their lives in peace, surrounded by love and receiving the best care.
Our animal hospital will give our rescued residents better medical facilities, sadly as many of our residents come from horrific backgrounds they also come with complex life long medical conditions. Our facility will give us space to house them till they recover, an examination room and quarantine facilities. Ours vets will also be able to perform minor procedures saving our residents the stress of travel. The more we raise the better the facilities we will be able to get, if we raise above our target the more extensive our equipment can be.
With your help we can fit out our hospital with the equipment to save lives- literally in our back yard. It will make such a massive difference to our animal community and their care.
Even if you aren't in a position to donate, please share on your social media or join our facebook competition @hopefieldanimalsanctuary - we hope to see you then!
We open to the public on Monday 12th April - so book now to get your tickets!
