National Fire Guard rescue equipment stolen

National Fire Guard, a Wildland Firefighting Team has been serving the community with search and rescue efforts for those affected by hurricanes, floods, and natural disasters. Recently we served in flood rescue and assistance efforts in Winslow Nebraska, March, 2019 then Davenport Iowa in May,2019  We have been tirelessly preparing to send a team to Lake City, Colorado to assist the National Guard and the citizens of the town in the event of a very possible flood due to the rivers overflowing from snowpack that has been an incredibly fast progressing issue that we have pledged our team to go on 6/19/19.
   Unfortunately, we have just been hit with a disaster ourselves. 
On Sunday, 6/16/19 our rescue truck was just broken into, vandalized and most of our rescue equipment has been stolen. A police report was filed with the city of Littleton PD,  case # 19-2621.
