National Elite Volleyball Team

Upon returning to Puerto Rico in July, Courtney and Isa were deperate to make friends and feel comfortable. They found this volleyball team  and were welcomed with acceptance and kindess.  This team became the most positive foundation for the girls in Puerto Rico.

Hurricane Maria devestated the island of Puerto Rico. The gym in Isabela  where these girls practice, is no exception. Still with no power or running water, they are trying to clean and rebuild the gym to begin practice again.

As my friends ask what they do for Puerto Rico, I know there are a multitude of great needs. I know that donations to NEVA, National Elite Volleyball Academy, will go directly to the team to reubuild thier facility. Also, the collesiums where tournaments are held, are either destroyed or being used as shelters; these funds can allow the teams to travel and participate in tournaments outside of Puerto Rico.

Right now these girls have been living without electricity and water for 3 weeks. School still have not re-opened and there is so much despair around them. I would like to offer to this team what they offered to my daughters-HOPE. These girls and coaches are amazing.
