National 3 peaks 24hr Challenge

On the 23rd & 24th of July we are undertaking the national three peaks challenge which consists of climbing the three highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales.

Scafell Pike (978m)

Snowdon (1,085m)

We aim to summit all 3 peaks within 24hrs!!!

We are a group of 12 who regularly raise money for local grassroots charities within the city of Liverpool. In the past we've ran half marathons, taken on mammoth walking challenges like Llandudno to Liverpool & even slept out homeless too. We've decided this time to try & raise £2500 for the unbelievable Liverpool based charity An Hour For Others who do incredible work within the city of Liverpool. The money raised by us will be spread out and put towards kids Summer groups that An Hour For Others run throughout the summer to provide amazing experiences and unbelievable memories for children that are going through real adversities in there own lives. These groups tackle Isolation, bereavement, poverty, bullying & racism to name a few. They also offer inclusion, positivity & empowerment. Money raised will also go towards bedroom refurbishments they do each year. Where they work with a team of tradespeople and volunteers to refurbish a number of homes/rooms, with an aim of bringing back the heart into their homes. In the past, there refurbishments have shown to benefit children suffering sleep deprivation, positively impacted children's education and improved the living conditions of the elderly. Money raised will also go towards the development of their brand new community hub right in the heart of the city in West Derby that will enable them to continue doing the incredible work they do.
