<div>On 8th December 2025, I’ll be attempting to run 96 miles from London to Dover — that’s nearly four marathons in four days.

<div>To put that in perspective, it’s like running from your house to the nearest coast, then realizing you left your wallet at home and having to run back.

<div>Now, I’m not a professional athlete. I’m not even the kind of person who enjoys running to catch a bus. But I am stubborn, mildly unhinged, and genuinely passionate about making a difference — and that’s what this challenge is all about.

<div><strong>Who (and what) I’m running for:</strong>
</div>

</div>
<div>I’m raising money for two incredible charities that have personally helped shape my journey:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>•	Mind – Because mental health matters. They help people find strength and support when their world feels heavy — something I’ve needed myself and see others struggle.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>•	Missing People – A charity I’ve been involved with in the past. They give families hope when someone they love disappears. It’s heart-breaking, but their work is life-changing.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Between these two, they’ve helped people (and families) through some of the darkest times imaginable — and now it’s my turn to give back.
</div>

</div>
<div><strong>Here’s the twist:</strong> 
</div>
<div>For every £1 donated, I’ll run an extra meter.
</div>
<div>So, if you’ve ever thought “I’d pay good money to see them suffer a bit,” now’s your chance.

<div>Every pound literally adds distance to my challenge.

</div>
<div>Transparency is key (and I’m too tired to lie after all this training), so here’s the breakdown:

<div>•	80% goes directly to Mind and Missing People, funding real support for real people and families.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>•	20% helps me kickstart a dream project: a mobile bar service that brings people together, sparks conversation, and hopefully creates more laughter than hangovers. Because let’s face it — some of the best therapy sessions happen over a pint and good company. ‍
</div>

</div>
<div><strong>How I’m preparing:</strong>
</div>
<div>To prove I’m not just winging it (okay, maybe a little), I’m logging all my training and progress on Strava.

<div>You’ll see every run, every slow jog, every time I question my life decisions — all out in the open.

<div>Fair warning: it might not always be pretty. There will be sweat. There will be groaning. There may even be tears (and possibly snacks mid-run).

<div>This challenge isn’t just about running. It’s about resilience, recovery, and connection. It’s about showing that even when life knocks you sideways — mentally, emotionally, or otherwise — you can still put one foot in front of the other (sometimes literally for 96 miles).

<div>It’s about helping families find hope when someone goes missing. It’s about breaking the stigma around mental health. It’s about building something positive — one step, one pint, one laugh at a time.
