Nathan's Journey

As Nate's cousin I want to do all I can to help!  


Back in November,  a friend noticed a bump on Nate's neck and he decided to get it checked out.  After scans and biopsy were performed in Australia, doctors confirmed Nate had cancer.  

At the time of the devastating news, Nate was in the United States on an already planned trip.  

This diagnosis changed the plan and time frame of the trip because he now had to have surgery to remove his thyroid and 20 lymph nodes, 8 of which had cancer.  

After being in the  U.S. for 7 weeks, Nate will be able to return to Australia on March 1.  Due to the surgery, healing, and radioactive therapy, Nate has been unable to return to Australia earlier and continue working full time in order to pay his tuition and other costs for  his schooling.
