Nathan Reyes Medical Fund

Please pray for this sweet family! Yesterday, the Reyes family received some devastating news for their 13 year old son, Nathan. A rare type of Bone Cancer! The six letter word has turned their world upside down. We are hoping to raise money for the next steps in this journey, The Reyes familys has no insurance and the initial cost of the biopsy is $3000. Let's remove this burden from their shoulders and raise enough money to help offset the medical costs that are ahead. All monies will go directly to them and anything raised above will go to future doctor visits.  If you want to donate offline, please contact me. Ok. I haven't updated.

Its been too much to take in.

I owe you all an explanation after all the faithful prayers.

Sadly, we didn't hear the news we were hoping for.

A biopsy will be needed. This will be a surgery that will require a piece of Nathan's shin be cut out for further testing. This will compromise the integrity of the bone, so he will need much healing.

The cancer that the doctor is concerned about is called adamamtanoma. It's a very rare bone cancer that affects very few.

On a very personal level, our family is hurting. Nathan is facing fears that no 13 year old should. Selah is absolutely broken hearted. Phil and I are Trusting in God, but dealing with earthly fears. Our extended family (grown children and others) are desperately hurting as well.

I don't know how to express how much our family needs our community's support.

I ask that y'all continue to pray.
