Nathan Reed's Road to Recovery

Donation protected
Nathan was riding his bicycle and stopped on a street corner sidewalk when an intoxicated and uninsured driver swerved off the road and hit Nathan. The truck dragged Nathan, pinned between the truck and the bike, three-quarters of a mile. According to eye-witnesses, it appeared the driver was trying to loosen Nathan so he could run from the scene. Nathan was airlifted to Tampa General Hospital and has remained in the ICU since June 3rd.

It is a miracle Nathan Reed is alive. We are raising money for the unforeseen medical and caretaker expenses.

Nathan has endured countless injuries and many surgeries, with more surgeries to come. We are incredibly thankful Nathan did not have serious head trauma or damage to his internal organs. The doctors are hopeful that Nathan will be able to care for himself again, but he currently remains in what is basically a full body cast with very limited mobility and needs help doing absolutely everything, even as simple a motion as scratching his nose.

Nathan has a passion for music and has produced many songs. He is a good friend, always quick with a joke (even in the ICU) and loves talking to everyone he can (even though it is difficult for him at the moment). Nathan likes to remind the hospital nurses and staff that the Doctors say he is a miracle.

Please consider donating to help support Nathan’s recovery; whether it’s a few dollars or just a quick prayer.
