NATF Celebration of Gratitude

In the United States, blood clots kill more people each year than breast cancer, AIDS,  car accidents , and overdoses.  

Help the North American Thrombosis Forum (NATF) "make blood clots extinct" by donating to the 2018 Celebration of Gratitude.  The Celebration of Gratitude is NATF's largest annual fundraising event, and in 2018 it will be held in the Blue Wing of the Museum of Science in Boston, MA, under the watchful gaze of a life-size Tyrannosaurus Rex model.

Since its founding in 2006, the North American Thrombosis Forum (NATF) has been fulfilling its mission to raise awareness about blood clots and related cardiovascular diseases with innovative education and outreach programs.

Through educational programs for healthcare providers throughout the US and Europe, online and in-person support groups for patients, a state-of-the-art website, and printed literature in leading medical journals, NATF continues to be a leader in the fight against thrombosis.

In 2017, NATF made significant progress in the fight against blood clots, including the following milestones:

*Educated over 15,0 00 healthcare providers about how to better diagnose and treat patients with blood clots and related cardiovascular diseases

*Launched a new website (www.NATFonline.org ), which provided education and support to over 75,000 healthcare providers, patients, and caregivers

*Hosted a monthly online support group that provided emotional support and life saving information to over 1,200 patients

*Published "Blood Clots: The First  Six Months" a comprehensive guide for patients newly diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism
