Nate Gentry's Medical Fund

Donation protected
Hi.  I'm Nate Gentry of Cottonwood Idaho.

Early 2017 I learned that I had a brain tumor, which was pressing on my front right skull and creating pressure that started out with a never ending nasal drip.   I was sent to specialists, MRI's and subsequent surgery to relieve the pressure and remove as much of the tumor as possible from my brain cavity.

The healing and recovery has been slow and frustrating but what is scary are the mounting medical bills.

I'm asking my community members to please do what each of you can to help me with this dire financial situation I find myself in.    I've been working at my employers, Buds Power Sports,  but I get tuckered out and without rest, its tough on my health and recovery is slower.

I love my friends and colleagues in Cottonwood, Grangeville, White Bird and other communities in Idaho County and I am reaching out to ask for your support.  Any small amount will help me to try to get these medical bills paid.  I am making payments, and sacrificing other needs, but at $180,000 plus, its going to be a long, hard road to recover my financial stability.

Whatever you can do, collectively as a base of neighbors, friends and acquaintances, I am humbly asking for your help.  Individually, any little amount as small as $5 or $10 to help me out, collectively will help a tremendous amount.

I have always been a responsible consumer, never doing more than my income can handle.  But I"m in trouble friends.   I would not be asking for help if I wasn't in dire straits.

Thank you and I will make it up to you, my community, someday, some how.

Update for Tuesday, August 15, 2017

Tuesday Nate heads down to Lewiston Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) and they apply packing (fat from my abdomen) up into his sinus cavity to the base of his skull where the surgical site from his last tumor surgery was. After that, Nate will be admitted again to St. Joseph Medical Center where they lay him perfectly flat and apply a Spinal Tap into the base of his spine to inject Nuclear Dye into his system.

Nate then has to wait 48 hours motionless, (except for MRI and Cat scans every 4 hours) to watch for leaks at surgical site.    The doctors will evaluate the seriousness of the leak from his tumor site, to perform yet another brain surgery,  once AGAIN. Back to being out of work for who knows how long. For Nate, the bills just keep piling up.

Please help us to help our friend Nate.  Any amount as small as $5 or $100 if you have that to spare, will help with these mounting bills that threaten to crush his previously clean financial record.

Thank you.
