My sister, Nateasa Elizabeth Scott, battled a stage IV breast cancer diagnoses for 14 years. On March 5, she passed away peacefully at Hartford Hospital. When Nateasa was first diagnosed, our friends established Miles of Hope, which was a fund designed to help Nateasa and Miles with living and medical expenses. Now that she has passed, funds raised through Miles of Hope will be used to support Miles as he navigates life without his beloved mother.
