Nate Schwartz Memorial Fund
This fund is being started by the Pioneer Wrestling family to support the needs and funeral expenses of one of our own, Nate Schwartz. Nate was a 2021 Senior graduate who died tragically with his friend, fellow teammate, and graduate Alex Schenk in an auto accident Sunday night, August 8. The Pioneer community is shocked and heartbroken by the sudden loss of these two amazing young men. This team truly feels as if they've lost brothers. Nate is described by Coach Edwards as "Competitive with a will to win, but more importantly he was family oriented and cared about others."
As a community, we can show our love and support for this family by helping to alleviate the financial burden of this unexpected tragedy. Those of you that know the Schwartz family are aware of the recent passing of Nate and Abby's mom, Michelle, after a 4 year battle with cancer. This is beyond comprehension for them. Our support will allow them to grieve and celebrate Nate's life, while also adjusting to life without these precious members of their family.
