Thank you everyone who has donated to this fund making it possible to help out this awesome family! Your help and prayers have done a tremendous amount of help. We raised close to $5000 dollars total through multiple avenues on this fundraiser. We did the drawing for the Southwest tickets on the 20th of April and the winners have been notified. Sorry if you did not win, but your help to on this was very much appreciated!!!
If you still would like to donate I am going to keep this site open for another month so donations will still be accepted as long as this site is still up. Your donations to help the Shafer family would help them out even more. Natalie Shafer has donated 1000s of hours to her community and has been a den leader for Cub Scout Pack 747 in Elizabeth, Colorado for the last 5 years. She has been a pillar for the pack and set the example for the boys to follow that is second to none. Pack 747 was awarded two round trip Southwest Airlines Tickets* for their service to the community. In thanks for Natalie’s service to the Pack they decided to use the tickets to raise money to help support all the medical bills for her fight against cancer.
In reward for your generous giving to help the Shafer family for every $20 you donate you will be entered for one chance to win BOTH (2) of these tickets, for example if you donate $100 you would be entered 5 times. The drawing for TWO Southwest Airlines tickets* will be on April 18th at the Annual Cub Scout Pack 747 rocket launch which happens to be 3 days after Natalie’s LAST CHEMO treatment. If you would like to be part of the drawing we will need an email and/or phone number to be able to contact you to let you know if you win the tickets, (your information will be kept confidential and only used to contact you if you win). We will make contact with the winner no later than April 20th. The Southwest Airlines point of contact will contact you and explain the details of the tickets and how to use them.

*Note: These TICKETS are POSITIVE SPACE PASSES, which means they are as good as paid tickets with one small exception. In the RARE occasion that a flight is oversold and no one volunteers to give up their seat for a money/travel voucher you would be pulled off the flight before someone who paid money for their ticket. Again, this is a VARY RARE situation, you are guaranteed a seat with a reservation with the exception explained above. Also these tickets are limited to domestic travel and San Juan, Puerto Rico. There is a chance they can be used for international travel staring in October 2015 as Southwest expands their international travel pass privileges. Again the Southwest Airlines point of contact will explain the details on the international travel potential as Southwest authorizes their use starting in Oct 2015.
Technically, no donation is necessary to get a free entry towards the prize. It's not very classy, but if you want a free entry without giving to help out this family in need, you can send your request on a 3x5 card with your name, address, and phone number to by April 1, 2015. Not responsible for lost entries.
