Natalie Chavez

I’m creating this account for my baby sister Natalie Chavez and her two children Princeton and Cali.
She was involved in a horrific car accident August 22nd.
A drunk driver intentionally rammed her vehicle several times,forcing her off the road and into a house.
She had to be freed (jaws of life) and airlifted to trauma center.
That day, immediate surgery was necessary just to stop uncontrollable bleeding.
Several ribs were fractured and pelvis and hips were completely shattered upon impact in the accident. Friday another major surgery was performed to try to reconstruct hips and pelvis
(lots of screws,bolts,metal plates).
Unfortunately the nerves that run from her lower spine down to her legs were completely torn.
Doctors said there is a 50% chance she may or may not have use of her legs or walk again.
They will know in the upcoming days just how much sensation or nerve life is there.
She won’t even be able to try bearing any weight on legs for at least 8 weeks.
Her condition is extremely critical and she’s facing a long and had road ahead.
Her two young children Princeton and California were also in the accident,who thank God they suffered only minor cuts,scrapes and bruises.
It is a miracle any of them survived
because the impact was so strong,her car was totaled.
Natalie is facing a very difficult road ahead. She is a single mother who is going to need money for medical costs,rent,utility bills,groceries,child care,housekeeping and so much more.
