Natalie Newman Trip of a LIFETIME !

Donation protected
Natalie Newman is a beautiful young lady who is full of life and love. In 2010 we were told that Natalie had a very rare disease that only affects about 5,000 Americans and that she wouldn't live passed her late 20's. This disease is called Friedreich's Ataxia. Friedreich's Ataxia, also known as FA, is a progressive neuromuscular disease that slowly takes away ones abilities to function on their own. Natalie also has heart disease called Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. In 2012 she underwent spinal fusion surgery to correct the 63 degree curve in her spine. Natalie has transitioned into a wheelchair full time. Last year she flew to specialist in Florida for clinical trials to help find a cure. Natalie has had a few hospital stays this year due to Heart related problems. She was transported to Childrens medical this week for some of the problems associated with FA. Her heart is over working and its causing a issue. The staff are trying medications to get it down to normal rythm. Once that has happened they will be able to release her. Natalies wish is to go to Hawaii with her Family. Natalie has her Mom and dad and 2 brothers along with 2 sisters that could go with her and make this a trip of a life time. And at 19 years old having your best friend to go with you is a bonus. We have had a few donations and are working hard to get to the goal we need. If you feel like this is something you would like to be a part of please donate and help.

Thank you,
The Newman family
