Hello,
This is Heather, Anastasia's "Nastyas" sister in law. My family and I are trying to raise money to help Nastya with her cancer treatments, holistic and chemo.
The day we learned of Nastyas cancer was a tragic day for our family and friends. The doctors at the UCLA cancer treatment center gave her very contradictory stories, saying you need to have immediate treatment to stop the growing cancer cells , while at the same time they told her they wouldn't be able to see her for a month. We all agreed that she should go to Russia where we knew she would be seen and treated much sooner which she was. After radiation and an operation, which removed most of her tongue, she finally got her taste back and felt, with her new disablity, she may be able to live a normal life again. Upon noticing a new lump in the area of her scars on her throat from the operation, she went to have it looked at. The doctors said it was just scar tissue and not to worry about it. But she got another opinion and they said it is cancerous and why wasnt it treated immediately. They said it is spreading into her shoulders already and she needs to check her lungs. They also told her she will this time need to do chemotherapy.
We are agreeing to the chemo but also are instilling other methods which will aid in the chemo and hopefully reduce the amount of chemo needed because we all know how detrimental chemo can be to the entire body.
We are experimenting with Firebird Touch Therapy, Ratio Formulas, and Procana products. We are also inquiring abour Black Salve and Baking Soda. The holistic approach which we are so needing to heal the whole body is everpresent in PorchiasW.I.S.H. work which we will employ also. Nastya said at this point, " I will try anything!"
It just doesn't seem fair that such a healthy, strong, motivated person should be attacked by this horrible, relentless disease. We are trying to raise money to enable us to try multiple remedies. Nastya wants to live a happy, pain free life with her family .
