Nassau Sober Living

Nassau Sober Living has provided me with the structure, safety and accountability I've needed to start my journey in recovery. In the 8 months I've been here I've not only been able to abstain from alcohol and drugs but also rediscover who I am.  I am learning to love myself again, which I never thought possible. Alcohol and drugs I believed ruined my life.  But by working a 12 step program and with the support I have gained through this house, I've learned I have so much more life to live and so much I can offer others through my own experiences. 
Nassau Sober Living isn't like your ordinary recovery house. We are a family. We are here to share our common experiences, struggles, values, and goals. But most importantly we are here to love and support each other until we can learn to love ourselves again.
My goal is to help provide other women with the opportunity that was given to me. Most alcoholics and addicts do not have the funds available to enter long term treatment and continue on their road of self destruction because they believe they don't have any other options. But this simply isn't true. We can come together and CHANGE lives.  With that being said, we are asking for your generous donations to continue our mission to provide these women with a new beginning. With the ultimate goal to provide our community with the additional recovery support it so desperately needs.
