Urgent supplies for families in direct provision

Nasc's Connect project works with vulnerable young people and their families, many of whom live in direct provision across Cork City and County.
Right now, the families we work with are struggling. Many are trying to self-isolate and do not have access to shops. Nasc are delivering emergency parcels of nappies, baby formula, food and educational supplies:
- Food parcels
- Baby formula and nappies
- Care packages for mental health & wellbeing
- Study & IT supports to help with schoolwork
All money raised will go directly to buying supplies.
Update 22/06/2020
With your help, between March and the end of May , 67 children & young people in 32 families have been supported with weekly food and household goods parcels, activity packs for children (colouring books, arts & crafts) and care packages. Almost €3,000 of this fund has already been spent in providing these essential supplies.
While restrictions are gradually lifting now, young people particularly in rural DP are still very confined in terms of movement and activities they can engage in. Transport is still cut off and public transport is very costly for them. They continue to lived in shared accommodation (laundry, canteen etc) so are still fearful of venturing out.
We are also receiving more requests for children's clothes and shoes, trikes and outdoor exercise equipment for children, which we are doing our best to provide.
Your support continues to be greatly appreciated.

Thank you to everyone who has donated so far. We are so appreciative of your generosity and we've been blown away by the response. With your hep, Connect has been able to support 48 children and young people in 21 families. €1,500 has been spent on food, educational supplies, baby clothes, cleaning supplies and toys so far and we're continuing to do drop-offs in a safe, socially-distanced manner.
