They actually did it - and qualified for the ZeroRobotics Finals which will take place on the 29th of January 2019 in Alicante, Spain & the MIT in Boston.
There, an ISS live feed will enable all finalists to see the Spheres that they've programmed themselves move in weightlessness
But even though we as parents are really proud of our sons' achievement, we weren't able to raise the funds necessary for this excursion to Spain (let alone to Boston) from either the school department or the school itself.
Being one of only two German teams that have actually qualified for the finals in Spain, we think that they've earned this trip as they've put an incredible amount of hard work into this international competition and have thereby shown their perseverance, extraordinary commitment and willingness to work on and solve very difficult, extracurricular programming tasks.
We would like to enable Ben and Samuel (accompanied by a guardian) to fly to Spain and experience this once in a life-time event that will certainly not only change their life forever, but might also shape their future course of education!
So please help us raise the 1500€ that we need to cover the expenses for flight tickets, food and accommodation for a 3-day trip (27th of January through 29th of January) to Spain for 3 persons.
