If you follow Dreamtime Aroha on IG you know we are outraged by the prices of basic living and in our remote communities it’s tripple or more in some cases.
What we will buy • Nappies • Baby Formula • Wipes
• Non Perishable Food items
For Cherbourg we supplied and continue to supply nappies, food, baby wipes, formula and shoes - we personally have driven up twice to deliver items to save postage.
For Aurukun we will buy as requested by the PCYC • Joggers • Socks (multiple sizes) • Healthy food items - we will post up items.
Mornington Island we will buy nappies, formula, tinned items, milk and shoes as kids literally have no shoes on their feet we will use a haulage company to get the items up and then they will be shipped across on the ferry.
Will be grateful for any assistance in relation to the perishable items listed we will hopefully have a drop off point only in Meanjin Sisters Inside.
Please note items will be purchased and sent at our discretion and to what community we feel can benefit most, we will post regular updates to the Go Fund Me and all socials.
