Naples to Paris for Simon Communities

Hi,

My name is Declan McEvoy and I'm back again with another crazy challenge to help out the Simon Communities here in Ireland.

On Monday the 27th of September I will attempt to ride over 1,000 miles on a motorcycle in under 24 hours.  That's over 1,600 Kilometers. The journey will start long before sunrise from Naples in southern Italy and will finish well after sunset in Paris in northern France .

I will cover all of the logistical costs. In addition, as my own personal donation, I will pay the 3% commission charged by GoFundMe on the total amount of all funds raised. This therefore means that 100% of your donation will go to the Simon Communities.

The Simon Communities is a charity that's near and dear to my heart. Throughout Ireland they provide the best possible care, accommodation and support for people experiencing homelessness and indeed to those at risk of homelessness and as you know this is a really big social problem in Ireland today. Together with people who are homeless, Simon tackles the root causes, promotes innovative responses and urges the Government to fulfil their commitments.
