Let us join together as a community to celebrate our Diversity by funding a new, public artwork.  Naperville is made up of people from all different backgrounds. Lets create a new artwork that represents us all! This is something that we can all do together. We will show the world that our community cares, that we represent our diverse backgrounds, and that our community stands up for the rights of all Napervillians and Americans.  And we can do it without forgetting our past and where we came from or by changing our past artwork.   Tee Marcus started a movement for change in Naperville when he created "The Wall of Exclusion" petition. This petition has gathered over 46,000 signatures. In response, this is a grass roots local fundraiser that has been created for Naperville residents and other interested parties to specifically address his petition request. This fundraiser is not endorsed by Tee Marcus. All funds generated will be gathered by Century Walk Corporation to help fund a new, diverse, public art work. There are other diversity initiatives that are being discussed. If you are interested in helping these, please watch for fundraisers for these new projects to increase inclusivity and diversity. Let's use our energy in a positive manner to create a new artwork. It's time for all of us to stand up and make a difference.  Any donation will help and make an impact. If every Napervillian contributed just $1, we can make a statement as a community that we stand together for this cause. Public art lasts for generations and it will be our message to the future. Thanks you for considering a contribution to this cause.  Any excess funds will be retained by  Century Walk Corporation for use towards new, diversity sensitive, public art works.  The current target funding is estimated and may be updated.    Century Walk Corporation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit  organization whose mission is "To Create Culturally Significant Diverse Public Art To Beautify The City, Build Community And Bridge Generations By Paying Tribute To Naperville's More Than 100 Year History."
