We are a 501(c)3 non-profit arts organization. At times, we get mixed in as simply a retail gallery to hang and sell art, but art leagues - OUR LEAGUE - is so much more. We rely on members and volunteers to host our Fourth Friday receptions, to operate the Riverwalk Fine Art Fair, to set up our Holiday Show and Off-Site exhibits so local artists and crafters can have maximum opportunities to sell their art and gain exposure, leading to success.
While we do as much as we can on our own, sometimes we hit a roadblock when our building needs sudden, but absolutely required, repairs. Our Gallery furnace of 24 years has failed us just in time for an early winter and we need a replacement ASAP. We also need to do repairs in our restrooms to add additional insulation before our pipes are at risk for freezing.
If you are in any way able to donate $5 or more, every bit counts and is appreciated by all those who call the Naperville Art League their art league. If you cannot afford to donate, please share this plea with your family and friends on social media and by word of mouth.
You can make a difference. The Naperville Art League started as a group of local artists who wanted a place to go where they could experience the art community. Since 1961, the League has grown to have hundreds of members, both past and present, amateur and professional. We have established the Riverwalk Fine Art Fair, which has been a treasured community arts event for over 30 years. We offer classes year-round for people of all ages and skill levels.
All our achievements were accomplished on the backs of our volunteers.
Thank you for supporting the arts and taking the time to read about the Naperville Art League.
