Missionary Program Fundraiser

Hi guys!


Earlier in 2012, I recognized this call from God to serve the Church.
And I didn't know how that was going to manifest itself. But it did; in the form of Justin Fatica mentioning the Hard as Nails missionary program to me when he came to speak at my church.
I emailed to find out more about it, and over the next couple months struggled with the idea. It was a long time, a lot of money, just a HUGE commitment. A sort of commitment I'd never made before.
It took a long time and a lot of prayer for me to decide that this was it. That God was at least asking me to apply. And so I applied, and I was just recently accepted.
Now this is happening.
I'm going to spend from the end of August 2013 through May 2014 as a Missionary with Hard as Nails Ministry. Hard as Nails is a ministry group that reaches out to young people to lead them closer to Christ and help them with the struggles that they are facing. Their ministry is very important and is reaching a lot of people!
This is what God is asking of me. He wants nothing less than everything and all I have to do is say yes.
So I am saying yes.
And "˜yes' includes a lot of things. "˜Yes' includes travelling, working to promote the ministry, and working in the HAN offices. It includes witnessing to what Christ has done in my life at events and it includes praying with teens, following up with them, encouraging them. It includes challenging myself spiritually and physically.
It also includes raising $8,000.
Which is in God's hands. I trust that if He wants this to happen, it's going to happen. But I have to put in the work. I can't just sit around and wait for the money to fall in my lap. No. So I'm asking.
I am asking you to support me in this mission.
And if you can give $1 it means the world to me. If you give anything, it means SO MUCH. And I am so grateful. You are not just sending me on a mission trip which will profoundly impact me; you are also helping me change the lives of kids who need help. Who struggle with real problems and who need people to tell them that they are AMAZING.
If all you can do is share this page with people, that is so much.
And most of all, I need prayers. Heaps and heaps of prayers. Because that is the most powerful thing that you can do for me. Pray for me as I go on this mission, pray for Hard as Nails as they reach out to youth, and pray for all the missionaries who are going to be with me.
