Funeral Costs for Naomi

On the morning of October 5, 2018, Naomi suffered complications from her cancer treatment, which left her in a deep coma. It was her wish to not be kept on life support. So with a heavy heart, we honored that wish on October 6, 2018. She was 30 years old.

Naomi was a fighter. She was a survivor of lymphoma and battled acute myeloid leukemia (AML) for the past year and a half. She ALWAYS had a positive way of impacting the people around her. She would look to help those in need at all times. As a teacher, she found immense joy in teaching biology to high school students with learning disabilities. It was incredibly hard for her to be separated from her classroom in order to start her treatments.

Despite her illness, she always had a positive attitude. She always saw the good in people and she was selfless in all her actions. She wanted everyone around her to be happy even when she was having a rough day. Naomi was truly an amazing person and will be missed by all.

Naomi is survived by her parents and younger brother. As her parents are preparing to say their final goodbyes, I would like to ask for financial support for her funeral expenses during this difficult time. I'm sure her family would be incredibly grateful for any assistance that we can provide. Her brother, Brian, will be managing the donation money.

Naomi will be remembered for her genuine purity and sense of care; she always put others before her. She was kind-hearted and loving. She will be missed dearly.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 9 am to 11:30 am at:

The burial will take place at Kensico Cemetery afterwards. We will be leaving from the funeral home at noon. Please contact me if you need transportation.
