Naomi's Birthday legacy. The next 8 defibrillators
Donation protected
To all of Naomi’s Family and Friends
It Naomi’s birthday on The 10th of January and I am struggling with what to do to honour her.
My long-term plan is to set up a charity to solve the 1-2% issues that plagues every project and organisation. I want to do this in honour of Naomi, and for the charities she held so dear.
Nome’s often commentated, as many of you know, that it’s this 1 or 2 % that is missed that can sink any project. It’s also what made her so good at her job, her family and all of the gatherings she organised. It was that detail to this 1- 2% .
More on this later.
The last year has been a blur and as many times as I have sat down to get started on organizing something more solid, I just couldn’t get it done.
As a result, I’ve decided to start with something more easily organised.
My goal for this year is to donate a defibrillator to St. John’s Ambulance for every year they gave us with Nome’s after her first cardiac arrest.
This organisation was very dear to Naomi. We did many events to help promote St Johns Ambulance and their incredible volunteer organisation
Now to her birthday.
We can’t buy Naomi a card, flowers, a bottle of wine or a drink at the pub…
What I am asking is to instead to honour her life, by supporting the charity that gave Naomi 7+ years of life!
I will be filling in any shortfall to try and achieve this goal.
Happy Birthday Nomes!
Love you Always and Forever
