The purpose of this fund is to support a dynamic young lady that has made a great investment in her own education
She will be graduating high school a few weeks after her 17th birthday with an associates degree in general studies in liberal arts. She is expected to graduate as the 2018 salutatorian. She is a member of NHS and has been invited to join honor societies at the community college she attends. In high school, she served as a trainer for the girl's basketball team, a member of the robotics team, and performed in plays.
She is an active member of the Greater Calvary Rites of Passage, a youth development process that she has attended every Saturday since the age of five. She is active in her church, dancing and managing the online broadcast.
She has an interest in architecture design. Her short list is SCAD, North Carolina A & T, Howard University and the University of North Texas. She enjoys listening to music, drawing, and reading.
She is currently applying for scholarships and is looking forward towards the next phase of her life. This fund will assist with tuition and other incidentals that will allow her to focus on her studies.
