Following a very successful Blazing Saddles 1 back in 2015 - Naomh Barróg GAA club in Kilbarrack, in the heart of Dublin's northside, takes to the roads again this September with our major fundraising effort.
Blazing Saddles 2 is a 100 km Cycling Challenge and aims to raise much needed funds for our club in order to resurface our aging all-weather pitch and also to raise money for a local Charity - St. Michael's House. This will be a fantastic asset to the club and provide top class facilities for many years to come - a real legacy from the current members to our community and an investment in our families future as well as benefiting a very worthy local charity.
The event takes place on September 7th, 2019 and at last count at least 14 mentors and parents from our Under 11 group have signed up to take part along with over 100 other mentors, past and current players and their friends and families connected to both the GAA club and Naomh Barróg Cycling Club, which was formed after the previous event in 2015.
Our aim is for each participant to raise at least €250.00 each hence our current target of €3500.00 and we ask that you please assist us with our goal by making a donation, however large or small that you can afford at this time. Your money will go a long way.
