Nanuet DECA ICDC Fund

Our names are Kenan Sehnawi, Cyle Warner and Justin Seo. We are three juniors from Nanuet Senior High School, located in the hamlet of Nanuet, New York. We are members of DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America), an organization preparing leaders for careers and education in marketing, finance, hospitality, management, and other business areas. Recently, we have qualified for the organization’s highest level of competition: the International Career Development Conference (ICDC), held in Atlanta, Georgia. We will be competing in a virtual business competition, running a sports franchise with the goal of generating the most profit. This is a significant achievement and a great opportunity for us to showcase our potential in the business world. Competing at this level is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!

However, we have been tasked with paying the majority of the cost to attend the competition. The estimated cost for the three of us to attend as a team is around $4,000, covering conference and travel costs. We have only a short time to fundraise, as our payment for the trip is due by March 14, 2018.
