Nancy Rogers Tough Mudder, Tough Lady

Last September a wonderful mother, wife, daughter, and friend passed away after a long battle with cancer. Her name was Nancy Rogers and growing up, she acted like a second mother to me and treated me as one of her own. It was very difficult to see my best friend Ben Rogers lose his mother far too early in life and even more upsetting that I wasn't able to be there when she passed away.

I decided that out of respect for Nancy and the warmth she always exuded in her character, it is only fitting that I give back to her in some way as she has done for me. I am training this summer to complete a Tough Mudder, a half-marathon race with 25 different obstacles throughout, in memory of Nancy and would love any and all donations, all of which would go towards the American Cancer Society in support of finding a cure.
