JAN 12 EVICTION NOTICE-Please Help!

Hello family, friends, and strangers!
Our family friend, Nancy, has been struggling over the past several years after losing her entire house with all her belongings to flooding and a fire in Hurricane Sandy and battling multiple health problems, which left her with chronic pain and immobility for 2 years. These health problems made it impossible for her to work, leading her to fall behind a few months rent. She has just recently recovered and is looking for work again, but is now being threatened with eviction from her apartment on January 12th. This is adding stress and worry during the process of finding a job. She also lives with her 4 cats (Snicky, Zoe, Peanut, Lily) and her son Dan, who is working two part-time jobs.
We are trying to raise $4,000 so she can keep her apartment until February while she interviews for jobs and gets back on her feet. She hopes to continue studying at community college and achieve her dreams of becoming a healthcare worker and Red Cross volunteer, a dream she developed after living in a shelter post-Hurricane Sandy and recieving help from Red Cross nurses and staff. She and her son and cats have no where to go if we cannot raise the money and she does not think she can handle losing her home again.
