<div>We are reaching out on behalf of our dear friend and lifelong El Pasoan, Nancye Beck, who recently suffered a devastating blow to her home and her heart.

<div><strong>A Life Rooted in El Paso</strong>
</div>
<div>Nancye's roots run deep in the Sun City. She grew up in her childhood home on Tobar, just around the corner from where her beloved grandmother lived. A proud graduate of Putnam Elementary, Coronado High School (Class of 1971), and UTEP (Class of 1975)—where she was a cheerleader and member of the Tri Delta Sorority—Nancye has always been a vibrant, active member of the community.

<div>She’s been part of First Baptist Church since infancy, where she still sings in the annual Living Christmas Tree performance and served as the bridal coordinator for many years. 
</div>

</div>
<div><strong>A Lifetime of Giving</strong>
</div>
<div>As a proud member of the Junior League of El Paso and the Mid Peninsula Junior League in Palo Alto, Nancye has volunteered over 10,000 hours to better the lives of others. From supporting the JLEP Good Time Singer's Center Against Sexual and Family Violence to rallying donations for the Junior League Christmas Fair, Nancye has always been the one lifting others up.

<div>She returned to El Paso in 2010 to care for her ailing mother and remained in the family home after her passing, continuing her legacy of love and service in the community she holds dear.
</div>

</div>
<div><strong>A Sudden Disaster</strong>
</div>
<div>On Sunday night, June 29. Nancye’s hot water heater exploded, flooding her beloved childhood home. To make matters worse, she discovered a problem with her homeowner’s insurance, leaving her with little to no financial support to cover the extensive damages. Nancye, is on a fixed income and a Senior citizen.

<div>Her house—filled with a lifetime of memories—is now in disarray. Friends, many of whom are over the age of 65, have stepped in to help, removing soaked carpet and water-damaged items. But this is a job far too big for them alone.
</div>

<li>Replace damaged flooring, baseboards and repair dry wall
</li>
<li>Cover the cost of restoration and cleaning, every room in the house was damaged by the water.
