Nancy & Jiro Masuda

On Sunday, July 16th, Nancy and Jiro had one of biggest scares of their lives together and embarked on a hard journey through the process of colon cancer treatment. With very little warning, a trip to the ER for stomach pain resulted in a colon cancer diagnosis and surgery to remove one third of Nancy's colon and the tumor that was blocking it. It was especially shocking because Nancy walks 10-12 miles daily, has been a strick vegetarian for years, and has not been sick with a single cold or flu in over 20 years. Nancy is now half way through her chemo treatments and fighting with every ounce of her energy.

Nancy and Jiro are both teachers and give so much of their time and love to others that we wanted to support them financially during this season of their lives as they focus on Nancy's health and recovery. We, Nancy and Jiro's friends and co-workers, are reaching out to you to help them through this time.
