Nancy's dream of becoming a Photojournalist

My name is Nancy. I live in Kenya - Nairobi.
I am a yoga instructor and currently learning to be a professional photographer.
I am passionate about photography and love everything about it. Here I have found my place. It is not only a hobby or a career for me. I see it as a way of communication where people can share their thoughts, viewpoints, frustrations, and their joy.
And I would love to share this goal and passion of mine with you and the world and for that, I need your support.
Background:
After finishing my high school, I stayed at home for long without knowing what to do with my life. I felt very lost. Luckily I was introduced to Africa Yoga Project, where I have been practicing and teaching yoga for 4 years now. Last year we all got challanged to find ourselfs an internship of our own choice. That was the time for me to think: What do I really love? What do I want to learn?
Going through old photo albums with some friends I remembered how much I love taking fotos. First we were joking around about me becoming a professional Photographer but soon I decided to enroll in an internship with "Azzurri Photography Studio".
During my first times of holding a professional camera in the studio I had different emotions and feelings. I was excited, shy, timid and without confidence. After some months of practice and commitments, I regained my confidence and I realized that photography was really my thing.
In the past year, I have learned so much. Now I know how to use the camera in manual mode, some of the core principals of photography, camera settings, editing indoors and outdoors shoot...
I am still learning and taking more courses to progress and dedicate my self to this.
When I started, I shot everything and anything. And while it was a great way to experiment with different photography genres. Now I truly believe in becoming a master and specialize in one area.
I love exploring fashion and street photography. My goal is to grow into becoming a photo journalist. I love storytelling and listening to other people's stories. I love making people feel their story and themselves being worth something. And I most love using the creative art of photography to show their feelings, stories and value.
All these things combined, I can see why I am passionate about photography. I can see that it is a very important part of my life and my heart. That this is the path I want to to use my creativity in and go forward with my career.
Here I need your support:
In order to grow in my art world of photography, I need to have my own professional camera and some studio equipment, like lights- for in- and outdoor shoots.
I want to raise 1000€ to realise my vision.
