Nancy Moore Medical Expense Fund

As many of you already know, our beloved Nancy Moore suffered a massive heart attack on Thursday September 7th. Nancy was transported via ambulance to UMass Worcester, where she was treated briefly before being life-flighted to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. The incredible medical team in the surgical cardiac ICU worked tirelessly to save Nancy's life. In the short time that she was there (roughly one week), Nancy underwent multiple surgeries and procedures to assist in the healing and rehabilitation of her heart and the other organs that had been damaged. Unfortunately, Nancy's body was not able to recover, and she passed away peacefully on Saturday September 16th with her family and loved ones beside her. 

Nancy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend, aunt, sister, co-worker and neighbor. She worked at the Center of Hope in Southbridge, Massachusetts where she was an amazing advocate for the rights of the mentally and physically disabled. The success of the household was largely contingent upon her income. The loss of this income combined with the crippling expenses associated with such intense medical treatment is sure to create an enormous challenge for Nancy's family at a time when their grief is at its worst.

In addition to the meal train that so many of you have generously donated to (THANK YOU!) I've created this fund as an opportunity to contribute to Nancy's medical bills and the many other expenses incurred during this devastating time.  ANY amount helps and is endlessly appreciated.
