Nancy Heyer Cancer Fund

Our mom, Nancy, has been battling cancer for 5 years. She has neuro endocrine carcinoma, which is normally a very aggressive cancer. Against odds her cancer remained contained and did not spread. After many rounds of chemotherapy she had surgery on June 1 at Barnes-Jewish in St. Louis to remove a tumor on her adrenal gland. The surgery went well but she is now having cognitive issues that were not expected. She does not remember having surgery or understand why she is in the hospital. Our parents are on a fixed income and bills are continuing to pour in and the unexpected cost of hotel stays for our step father and us is becoming overwhelming. This takes a lot for us to ask for help from our friends to help our mom. We have a lot of pride and truly wouldn't ask if it wasn't necessary. My mom and us love all of you so much and even if you can't donate, a simple prayer means just as much!
