NANCY ARNOLD'S PIANO STUDIO NEEDS HELP
Long time West Los Angeles piano teacher, Nancy Arnold suffered the total loss of her main piano studio in the Palisades wild fire. Her studio, filled with cherished student memories, included an acoustic piano, keyboards, digital piano, artist benches, valuable teaching equipment and over 1000 music scores, method books and reference books carefully curated over 40 years of teaching were consumed in the fire. Nancy was devastated but despite her own loss, she immediately put all her energy toward helping her students who lost their homes and their pianos. She saw to it that they could have access to digital keyboards, practice areas, metronomes and music scores --whatever they needed to continue their music learning.
Nancy has a satellite studio in Santa Monica. She was contemplating in the near future to start transitioning her main studio in the Palisades to her studio in Santa Monica which as yet is not fully equipped. The fire has abruptly caused her to pivot now.
My name is Dr. Nancy Fierro, Nancy Arnold is a longtime friend and former piano student of mine. She is a beloved, well respected and a highly dedicated piano teacher on the Westside. I am asking for funding to help her replace some of the vital music equipment she lost, including her digital piano and bench, an artist piano bench, pedal extender and some funds to help her start purchasing music scores.
Any support small or large would be greatly appreciated. If donations exceed our Go Fund Me goal, they would go towards replacing other music tools and necessities lost from the fire in her Palisades studio.
