Nancy and her Dock
Donation protected
Nancy K Edwards was criminally charged by the city of Orono, Minnesota for renting
out her dock.
As a senior citizen on a fixed income, she needed the money to help pay the extremely high taxes for living on Lake Minnetonka.
Nancy lives in a 120 year-old cottage left to her by her father. She would prefer to live in the cottage where her family has shared many memories for the past 60 years. It is important to note that Nancy's old house and small lot equates to $12,000 a year in taxes. Many long time residents are being taxed out of homes they thought they could retire in.
While she has settled with the city of Orono she is left with a $500 fine.
She stood up against government overreach so if you agree that Orono needs to stop
interfering in its citizen's lives, please consider supporting Nancy.
If you would like to contribute any amount would be appreciated.
