As many of you are now familiar, it has become a yearly event for me to participate in the American Heart Association, Heart walk event. Everyone knows someone who has been affected by heart disease or stroke.
On November 4, 2017 in Washington DC, we will be walking in honor of our dearly departed Najee Chisolm, year of death 2014, Lloyd Baskin, year of death 2014, and Warren (Jay) Lowe who is still battling this illness. We will walk to raise awareness, each step we take on November 4th will be in memory of those who are no longer here AND to bring light to those currently going through heart disease. The AHA is the largest voluntary health organization working to prevent, treat and defeat heart disease, stroke and other cardiovascular disease.
Your donation will support such life-saving efforts as research, education, advocating for better health, improving patient care and reaching populations at risk. No donation is too small or large, we cannot achieve this goal without each one of you. A portion of the proceeds will be given to Jay Lowe who sadly still seeks support for his conditions. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated. We thank you in advance.
